About
About Simply Married
Most couples aren't looking for legal advice. They want to know, plainly and in the right order: where to give notice, how long to wait, which documents to bring and what to book first.
That information exists — spread across GOV.UK, county registration services and individual council pages, each written for a slightly different audience. Simply Married reads your circumstances once and assembles the sequence that applies to you.
We are deliberately narrow. We don't sell venues, we don't run a supplier marketplace, and we don't take a cut of your ceremony. Our core service is simple: a personalised Marriage Plan for £29.
Our independence
Simply Married is not a register office, a local council, or a government department. Our staff are not statutory registrars and hold no registration powers. Every legal step — giving notice, booking a registrar, signing the register — is carried out by you with your own local registration service.
Guidance currently covers England and Wales. Scotland and Northern Ireland have different procedures and are not supported yet.
